Update: 22 August 04: Wardena arrived in the US after 8 months waiting in Baghdad! Wardena was originally found 1 April 2003 in Karbala, Iraq as a 4 pound pup, she was chasing the shade of a long convoy of humvee's. She spent the next 10 months traveling through Iraq with her soldier until he redeployed, she was left in the care of the Baghdad zoo in hopes of a reunion with her at a later date. Sapper made it to the US on 16 August after waiting 8 months in Iraq for a reunion with her soldier. Many thanks to Karen & Ozzie for clearing customs with her and to her new friends Eric & Henry from Delta Airlines. Many Thanks to the staff of the Baghdad zoo for their assistance.

Pumpkin from Baghdad landed in the US 12 August and will reunite with his Soldier in December
