Subject: BLK PITTY 1 YR OLD FML, DADDY IS GOING TO IRAQ! GOIN TO SHELTER WITHIN DAYS!

A SAD YOUNG FELLOW MOPED UP TO THE FRONT DESK AT WEST VALLEY SHELTER YESTERDAY WITH HIS 1 YR OLD SUBMISSIVE PITTY GIRL, HE EXPLAINED THAT SHE HAS BEEN A VERY LOVED HOUSE PET FOR THE YEAR HE HAS HAD HER BUT HE HAS BEEN CALLED TO SERVE HIS COUNTRY IN IRAQ STARTING NEXT WEEK. SADLY SHE HAS NO-WHERE TO GO WHILE HE IS OVERSEAS. SHE GIVES HER PAW, ROLLS OVER TO GIVE YOU HER BELLY, AND IS VERY WELL-MANNERED. IT WOULD BE SO TRAGIC IF SHE HAS TO BE IMPOUNDED. HE IS WILLING TO DRIVE ANYWHERE, PAY WHATEVER DONATION HE CAN AFFORD. HE HAS NOT TAKEN HER TO SHELTER YET. I TOLD HIM I'D SEND OUT A PLEA & PRAY.

Sgt. 1st Class Gregg stated in an email this past week that Allan should be into his adoptive home very soon. Allan's story was featured in the December 06 Newsletter.

UPDATE ON BREWSTER!
We were able to find an adoptive home for Brewster in just a few days of his Soldier requesting help, as she prepares to deploy to Iraq. Brewster has made fast friends with his new family and Toby his yellow-Lab buddy!
Many Thanks to Brewster's new family for opening their hearts & home, and providing Peace of mind to Brewster's Soldier.
