Dee
landed in the US on 16 Sept & Sassy landed the 20th.
Many
thank to Pamela, Sayed, & Balal in Kabul for all their help with
export papers & to the Soldiers who made sure they both caught
their first flights from Kabul.
Thank you to Pam & Pauline
for their care and boarding and making sure both Sassy & Dee
made safe flights into the US. Special thanks to Airport Angel - Eva
for greeting & clearing customs with Sassy and making sure she
made her connection flight for home.
Many
Soldiers helped raised funds for Sassy and thank you to Beverly at
4thetroops.net for sending donors for Dee, the remaining funds were
covered by Military Mascots. When all was complete, Dee &
Sassy's exports were at a cost of over $5,600.00 - Please consider a
donation to help replenish funds to assist more Soldiers to bring
their Mascots home.

Dee's welcome to
the US was faced with her driving through 2 States in the middle of
Hurricane Ivan to greet her soldier's parents.
Dee makes
it home - Safe at last!
Sassy
says Good-Bye before her flight.

A note
from Sassy's Soldiers:
"On behalf of the soldiers and their
friends of the Parwan PRT we wish Sassy to have a long and wonderful
life on a farm in Iowa with the Hatch family"
