Dee & Sassy from Afghanistan
Dee landed in the US on 16 Sept & Sassy landed the 20th.
Many thank to Pamela, Sayed, & Balal in Kabul for all their help with export papers & to the Soldiers who made sure they both caught their first flights from Kabul.
Thank you to Pam & Pauline for their care and boarding and making sure both Sassy & Dee made safe flights into the US. Special thanks to Airport Angel - Eva for greeting & clearing customs with Sassy and making sure she made her connection flight for home.


Many Soldiers helped raised funds for Sassy and thank you to Beverly at 4thetroops.net for sending donors for Dee, the remaining funds were covered by Military Mascots. When all was complete, Dee & Sassy's exports were at a cost of over $5,600.00 - Please consider a donation to help replenish funds to assist more Soldiers to bring their Mascots home.
Dee's welcome to the US was faced with her driving through 2 States in the middle of Hurricane Ivan to greet her soldier's parents.

Ms. Sippy & Rex in Iraq
Ms. Sippy & Rex are due to land in the US this week. Thank you to Tonia from the Michigan Family Readiness Group and to Driftwood Animal Hospital in Kenner, LA for helping raise funds to see both these mascots make it to the US. Sippy & Rex will be waiting at the reunion party when their unit comes home.

Soldier's seek shoes, tooth brushes & medical supplies.
Afghanistan unit seeks shoes (all sizes) and tooth Brushes to provide to the people in the village were they are based and also seek medical supplies for a clinic they have built. The top 3 people to send the most items by October 23rd will recieve an American flag flown over the Soldiers base camp with a certificate signed by the Special Forces men on base.
